Creative Direction, Design & Branding

Direction:
Business owner wanted a brand that was unique to the niche community. Inspiration coming from the rocky mountains, and her own dogs. The challenge was creating a brand, and being my own boss.

Execution:
Cohesiveness was created by using similar elements across all designed work. Nature being the key. I was fortunate enough to have colleagues and friends to bounce ideas off of to help create a logo that was so unique in the dog community.
The company name came first and from there the logo was born, taking on the very literal sense of the words. Many ideas came before and this one spoke the most to the brand I was trying to create.

Collateral:
A wide variety of web based advertisements were designed, all based on current clients, to really showcase them. Posters, business cards, glass clings, t-shirts.
Logo Rework

2018 Logo Refresh.
After several years competition had grown and new companies were verging on too similar. I was hesitant to rework but the result stood out among the others.

I was looking for something new and fresh, that had a wilderness explorer scout feel to it. A badge was created. Type choice was altered to give more of an impact and fit the new vision moving forward.
